Access Partners & Programs We Support
At NotYetPro, our mission is to expand access to all sports, mentorship, and athlete development across all communities.
We partner with organizations, teams, and initiatives that align with our values of inclusion, opportunity, and positive sports culture. Below are the programs we support and the roles we play in advancing their impact.

Diversity & Inclusion in Swimming
NotYetPro is proud to be a founding partner of Diversity & Inclusion in Swimming — an effort dedicated to expanding water safety, swim education, and aquatic career opportunities for underserved and underrepresented communities. From the very beginning, NYP has stood alongside D&I in Swimming to help build a national model for inclusive aquatics programming. Learn more at diversityswim.org.
Our involvement goes far beyond partnership. Tyree Powell, Founder of NotYetPro, played an integral role in shaping and launching the initiative through early collaboration with the Kappa Alpha Psi Towson–Catonsville Alumni Chapter, where the first version of the program was developed and introduced to local families. Learn more about the chapter at tcanupes1911.org.
Today, NYP continues this mission through community-based swim instruction, water safety advocacy, and accessible pathways into aquatic sports and employment. Together with our partners, we strive to reduce drowning disparities, increase representation in all levels of aquatics, and ensure that every child and family has access to safe, life-changing aquatic experiences.

HCYP Basketball
NotYetPro is proud to support HCYP Youth Basketball — a community-driven program dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and skill-building basketball experiences for young athletes across Howard County. As part of NYP’s mission to expand access to all sports, our involvement with HCYP ensures that children of all backgrounds have the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop through high-quality recreational athletics. Learn more at hcypbasketball.org.
Our involvement goes far beyond participation. Tyree Powell, Founder of NotYetPro, serves as a coach within the HCYP program, helping nurture positive sports culture, mentorship, and player development for boys in grades 5. Through leadership, skill instruction, and character-focused coaching, Tyree brings the same values of empowerment, inclusion, and athlete development that guide NYP’s work across all sports.
NYP supports HCYP’s commitment to creating welcoming, community-based basketball experiences. Together, we strive to increase access to recreational sports, promote confidence and teamwork, and ensure that every child has a pathway to enjoy the lifelong benefits of athletic participation — on and off the court.
