DIVE IN

OR MAYBE JUST EASE IN, FOR NOW 😉
BUT REMEMBER, THE GOAL IS TO BECOME A STRONG SWIMMER

The ability to swim can save your life, give you a lifetime fitness activity, and even help you earn income. Lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons pays well above minimum wage. Who knows… competitive swimming, college scholarships, surfing, or even scuba diving may be on the horizon.
Prepare for the future.

2 NEAR DROWNING EXPERIENCES TO NCAA SWIMMER

I "learned to swim" at 5. I had passed the course, but was not a strong swimmer at all. Between the ages of about 8 and 10, I vividly remember two separate occasions where I almost drowned. Once at a public pool, and once at the beach. Then, at the "late" age of 11, I became a competitive swimmer. I had to quickly build stamina and strength in order to just be able to finish a practice. I reached my goal of becoming a NCAA Division I Athlete.
